Also, I made bread. My crusts got much browner than I like because I was nursing Faire, but man is it good anyway. The texture is really good (It’s been so long since I last made bread that I even used a recipe — sorta). This was inspired by overhearing a bet that someone couldn’t live on $10 a day for food in NYC. First thing I thought was rice & beans. Second was that 5lb of flour costs $3.50.
